Viva Espana!

Finally, Spain have won their First international silverware since 1964, with a solitairy goal from Fernando Torres which sealed their triumph after winning all the matches they've played in the tournament. Viva Espana!

p/s: Spain have always be my favourite team. I supported them since the Korea/Japan World Cup tournament, but still I didn't have any of their jerseys at all! I'll get one soon... Congratz Spain!

An Afternoon at Bangsar.

Last week, Desmond and Me chatted in the corner of the Chawan cafe that flowed into the Telawi area at Bangsar, while we waited for Ridhwan, my new client/friend who works as a real-estate developer to join us there. For me, it was a tense afternoon view at Bangsar. Such an unstoppable disturbances to my eyes, watching the narrow roads filled with cars and people.

" I think almost 20 pubs and discos are operating in this Telawi area alone. Their business is sizzling hot here..",

Desmond said, as he kickstarted our conversation that afternoon.

" Yalah..I wonder how much does it cost for rentals.. It's slightly higher than anywhere else in town..", i answered him, while my brain generates some questions about the real-estate price in Bangsar nowadays. Ridhwan arrived half an hour later and joined us, making the conversation much more interesting for me.

As a long-time 'Bangsarian', Ridhwan knows more. Especially about the nightlife here. According to him, you'll see many young and not-so-young, lounging around in the best TO-BE-SEEN zones, some clad in designer gear and the many wannabes in the latest fashion trends, hoping to be spotted as part of the in-crowd. Plus, it's easy to find some designer clothes in Bangsar Village 2.

After we're done meeting with Ridhwan, I went to Bangsar Village supposedly to buy a pack of cigarettes and ended up with some photos of the shops inside. SEMPAT.

For ladies : LIZ CLAIBORNE...... ZARA... GUESS.... WAREHOUSE .... AND MANY MORE! TED BAKER & MASSIMO DUTTI.So, now I know. Bangsar is absolutely a party reveler's heaven. They can find everything here. From fashion spots to coffee houses, and from ordinary pubs to exclusive celebrity's hang-outs. It's definitely not meant for a guy like me. The carparks that filled with Mercedeses, BMWs, Porsches,Ferraris and other luxury cars told me to stay out of here.

( coz I'm a loyal and regular LRT user.. hahahaha..)

p/s: I won't and couldn't afford any shopping around here because it's way too expensive!! It's only for those who finds MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM. Adios!!

Hitting The Right Notes

Alhamdulillah, I managed to secure another deal today which ranked as my 7th "biggest" transaction this month. I promised myself to hit the right notes again and again soon. Just remind me if I'm out of tune. I'll quickly fix myself.To Mr. Desmond Tangarajan, thanks for your help. We'll share the stories later :)


Once in a while, when I did my thing very well, I'll have this feeling that suddenly I want to scream loudly, just to show off my happiness because I did it! It felt like I was one of the firecrackers bursting up beautifully in the sky, I was the only one who played an impossible concert at the moon, and I was the first one who able to solve the hardest calculation to produce the latest, state-of-the-art nuclear bomb in the world! Yeah, the feeling was really amazing, but.... I still kept it to myself. Be quiet. Its not the right time to be buoyed by that small matter. I still got a long way to go. Be motivated Asz!!! You're not living in your dreams yet!



InsyaAllah, I can get my family some 'Ang Pau' for the coming Eidul Fitri.(Missed Bapak & Mak so much..)I know Mak already aimed something for this raya, and I must get it for her. (I'm helpless when Mak smiles!!! ) Wait for me!


Adik is coming to KL next week, so I must prepare for her new semester. She'll need to buy a lot of things soon but I didn't get her list yet, except one of them, which is a new SLR camera. Don't worry sis, whatever it is, I'll get it for you. I've been saving a lot for your studies. I know you carry Mak & Bapak's dreams right now, so I won't disappoint 'em like I've screwed my chance a long time ago. Trust me sis, you'll reach the star..... Trust me...



And exclusive here, the candid photo when we bumped with Linda Jasmine at Marks & Spencer earlier this year.. Mak's face turned red after I forced her to take a picture with Linda.. Hehehehe sik penah aku tangga muka Mak merah kedak tok!Hehehehehe....

At 8:30pm, i received a phone call from my Mom..


MOM: Asz, Happy Birthday... I love you..

ME: Love you too Mak, makseh sebab ingat birthday aku..

MOM: Mestilah kamek orang ingat.. Apa polah kawu tek? Dah makan?

ME: Sekda apa-apa Mak, nangga berita tv jak.. Tadik dah aku makan..
Bapak tek apa khabar nya?

MOM: Yalah Asz, bapak ya baruk bait demam.. mala jak nya ya sakit.
Bingong juak mak nangga nya. Sik cergas gilak nya kedak dolok.
Happy nya dengar adik kawu dapat Dean's list semester tok tek.

ME: Ney ndak, diam di rumah jak kali. Nya ya kan biasa bekerja.
Lamak nya pencen tok, yalah badan nya mala sakit-sakit jak.
Sian juak bapak ya.. Umo dah kin nait juak bah mak...
Awok.. ada Noi padah ngan aku riya, suk nya dapat Dekan..
3.55 pointer nya. Syukurlah...bukan senang nak dpt dekan.

( private conversation continues about Bapak...) and then Mak said-

MOM: Haa.. kawu ya pun dah nait umo, pandey-pandeylah kawu
mbak dirik cnun. SEJADAH ya, mesti berdebu jak di simpan.
Beringat-ingat lah asz. Jangan lupak dengan Tuhan. Jangan
masa susah kelak baruk nak beringat. Dengar sik??

ME: Aok Mak.. Insya-Allah.. ( felt guilty...)



And the conversation with Mak on the phone left me with a sudden impact. Mak indirectly told me that i am the "boss" now. The new caretaker of my family. It's all on my shoulder. Adik's education will always be my 1st priority. No problemo. I must re-define myself again. Teach myself how to be a good son, a good brother, a good friend, a good husband, and a good ME.

This is the perfect time to use all the time i have in this life, to change everything that i couldn't change in the future. My past is already a bad history, so the time has come to create some good stories about my life, as an inspiration for my generations soon. There's no other way to tell a good story than writing it yourself.

And the "list" must be like this :

Today, I turn 23... Alhamdullilah, syukur i'm still breathing..

It's been a long time since my last post...

I am back now, and i'm sorry sebab cannot berblogging for all this while...

The past 12 months was full of an emotional rollercoaster. I tried my hands at new things and breathed refreshing energy back into my life. Along the way I met countless new friends, friends that have grown to become an important BACKBONE of my life and whom now I consider like my family.

When i was 22 years old, I...

met the love of my life, Zulfareena..

lost my beloved (105 years old) grandfather, 31st August...

experienced constipation, September.....

well, suffering the pain - kidney stone, December....

then i was transferred to KL.. January,

And so many things/matters/incidents that taught me to be strong as a "human being".. Sometimes it rocked me out, sometimes it slowed me down...

Today, I turn 23 years old. The best (and worst) has yet to come. But I'm ready for it. All I gotta do is have the coconuts to tackle whatever life throws at me, and keep my momentum towards a successful life. Thank You Allah for keeping me alive, and providing me with a vast of strength to walk this life. I know i'm not alone. Thank you mom and dad, thank you my love, thank you my friends, and thank you to everybody who supported me before.
